Montieri is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Grosseto in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 70 km south of Florence and about 40 km north of Grosseto. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,245 and an area of 108.5 km².[1]
Montieri borders the following municipalities: Castelnuovo di Val di Cecina, Chiusdino, Massa Marittima, Monterotondo Marittimo, Radicondoli, Roccastrada.
