Monticelli d'Ongina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 130 km northwest of Bologna and about 20 km east of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,316 and an area of 46.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Monticelli d'Ongina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Nazzaro, Borgonovo, San Pietro in Corte, Olza, Isola Serafini and Fogarole.
Monticelli d'Ongina borders the following municipalities: Caorso, Castelnuovo Bocca d'Adda, Castelvetro Piacentino, Cremona, Crotta d'Adda, San Pietro in Cerro, Spinadesco, Villanova sull'Arda.
