Montgomery Pittman

Montgomery Pittman (March 1, 1917 - June 26, 1962) was a television writer, director, and actor. Pittman was born in Louisiana and raised in Oklahoma. He broke into acting in New York. He moved to California in 1949 and turned from acting to screenwriting. He wrote for such television series as 77 Sunset Strip and The Twilight Zone. Pittman died of cancer in 1962.
