Montgomery County Road Runners Club

The Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC) is a non-profit group formed to promote and encourage running in Montgomery County, Maryland and in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. It is a member of the Road Runners Club of America.
MCRRC is one of the largest, most active running clubs in the nation, and is recognized for sponsoring low-key but high-quality club races, training runs, special events, and other activities. It offers programs and opportunities for all types of runners, from newcomers to experienced ones. The MCRRC club motto is "A Place for Every Pace".
MCRRC members have access to the RRCA quarterly publication Footnotes. MCRRC members are encouraged to participate in the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix racing series. MCRRC has a sister club in Richmond (Upon Thames) in southwest London, the Ranelagh Harriers. MCRRC members traveling to Richmond have free access to training runs and any races that are free to Ranelagh members. MCRRC publishes the bimonthly magazine The Rundown.
MCRRC hosts over 30 races each year. The most notable are:
- Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathon and 50K (part of Trail Runner Magazine Trophy Series)
- Run For Roses 5K (part of RRCA Maryland Women's Distance Festival Grand Prix Series)
- Rockville Rotary Twilight 8K
- Rileys Rumble Half Marathon
- Parks Half Marathon
- Darcars Young Run (largest children's race in the US)
