Monterosi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 35 km (21.75 mi) northwest of Rome, about 30 km (18.65 mi) southeast of Viterbo at an elevation of 276 m (905.5 ft).
As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,780 and an area of 10.7 km² (6.65 mi²).[1]
Monterosi borders the following municipalities: Nepi, Sutri, Trevignano Romano.
