Montereale Valcellina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 110 km northwest of Trieste and about 20 km north of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,606 and an area of 67.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Montereale Valcellina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Grizzo, Malnisio, and San Leonardo Valcellina.
Montereale Valcellina borders the following municipalities: Andreis, Aviano, Barcis, Maniago, San Quirino.
