Montenero Sabino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 50 km northeast of Rome and about 14 km southwest of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 319 and an area of 22.7 km².[1]
Montenero Sabino borders the following municipalities: Casaprota, Mompeo, Monte San Giovanni in Sabina, Rieti, Torricella in Sabina.
