Montenegro debuted in 2007 at the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest. The country took part earlier as part of Yugoslavia. In 2004 and 2005, Montenegro entered the Eurovision as part of the loose union of Serbia and Montenegro, but in 2006 the union had to withdraw because the two countries couldn't agree on a candidate to send.
The 2005 entrants from Serbia and Montenegro, No Name, were from Montenegro, as were the 1983 and 1984 entrants for Yugoslavia.
