Montenegro debuted at Eurovision in 2007, having chosen a song and performer on the 25 February 2007 through a new format called MontenegroSong 2007. The Montenegrin public chose Stevan Faddy and the song "Ajde, Kroči" to represent the nation as its first entry. In the competition, ten songs competed with the winner being selected by televoting only.
Stevan Faddy competed in the semi-final of Eurovision on 10 May 2007. He performed seventh in the competition, following Georgia's entry, "Visionary Dream" by Sopho and preceding Switzerland's DJ Bobo with "Vampires Are Alive". He failed to qualify for the final night, placing 23rd in a field of 28 songs.
