Montella is a town (comune) in the province of Avellino, Campania, Italy.
Italian singer Aurelio Fierro was born here. Hall of Fame basketball coach Geno Auriemma was also born in the commune, although he emigrated with his family to the United States at age 7. Giovanni Palatucci, one of Italy's righteous, who helped Jews during World War II, was born here. Montella is the "syster city" of Norristown, PA
