Montegrotto Terme is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 45 km west of Venice and about 11 km southwest of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,598 and an area of 15.2 km².[1]

Montegrotto Terme is a nice and important spa resort, part of the Terme Euganee spas.

Therapeutic hot water and mud attract guests from all over the world to its hotels and spas.

It is also a good starting point for visitt to the Euganean Hills (Colli Euganei)

The nearest international airports are Venice (VCE) (distance 50km) and Bologna (BLQ) (distance 110km). A13 toll highway exit "Terme euganee". Railway station "Terme Euganee" (distance 0 km) Montegrotto Terme borders the following municipalities: Abano Terme, Battaglia Terme, Due Carrare, Galzignano Terme, Torreglia.
