Montefortino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 80 km south of Ancona and about 20 km northwest of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2005, it had a population of 1,313 and an area of 78.5 km².[1]
