[edit] Campus

MVCS is situated next to a golf course in a beautiful area surrounded by redwoods, orchards, and agricultural fields. The Middle School is located in a central area while the high school classrooms are connected by walkways throughout the rolling lawns of the campus.

There are two baseball fields, two tennis courts, a swimming pool, two football and soccer fields, a track, two basketball courts, and a beach volleyball court.

When entering the main entrance of the school, to the left are the "A" and "B" Buildings, which house a broad range of High School classrooms as well as the Student Services office. Continuing down the road, the cafeteria features indoor tables and outdoor patio seating, and was recently re-decorated in a Fifties theme with black and white tile flooring and red and white paint.

Recent campus renovations have updated several science classrooms and the high school gym lobby. The drama classroom has doubled in size to create a blackbox Theatre Lab, and the practice rooms for Instrumental and Vocal Arts have been renovated.
