Monte Branco (Portuguese meaning the white mountain, also in the Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Monti Branku, São Vicente Crioulo: Monte Brank') is a settlement in the island of Maio in Cape Verde.

The village is located in the central part of the island and is situated in a dry climate and it receives little precipitation annually. Farmlands are the island's most common and are mainly of cattle, groves and some fruits and vegetables and rarely some fruit productions and are around the area and into the hills, some foodstuffs are received from the northern and the southern parts of the nation as well as the island. The area are flat while the mountains dominate eastward, the salty lagoon is near the settlement. Its soil color ranges from tan to red.

The village is in the island's low to mid class. Most of the houses are built with stone and concrete, several houses are built with either steel reinforced concrete or with stone and wood, a few homes are made up of mud and brick. uchits population are farmers and are based in agriculture. The area received no income until the mid to late-20th century. However, a part of the needy materials comes from the island capital, the island capital and the diaspora. But for other needs, electricity, communications and appliances arrived in the late-20th century in the area as well as phone lines. A part of the necessities also comes from the island capital.
