Monte Alto, São Paulo

Monte Alto (High Hill) is a municipality/county in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 45,599 and the area is 347.99 km². The elevation is 735 m. Its motto is (from Latin) Mons Altus Semper Altius (High Hill Always Higher).
