Montclair State University is a New Jersey Transit station in Little Falls, New Jersey on the Montclair-Boonton Line. It primarily serves nearby Montclair State University.[citation needed] There is no weekend service at the station. Every train on the Montclair-Boonton Line stop here. Also this is where Midtown Direct trains from the unelectrified area west of the station and the yard shortly beyond switch to an electric locomotive to go throguh the tunnels to New York.
