Montano Lucino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Milan and about 5 kilometres (3 mi) southwest of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,534 and an area of 5.2 km².[1]

The municipality of Montano Lucino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cantalupo, Cima, Crignola, Dosso, Grisonno, Lucino, and Montano.

Montano Lucino borders the following municipalities: Cavallasca, Como, Gironico, Grandate, San Fermo della Battaglia, Villa Guardia.
