Montana gubernatorial election, 2008

The 2008 gubernatorial election for Montana will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, and will select a Governor and Lieutenant Governor, who run together on a ticket. Incumbent Governor Brian Schweitzer and Lt. Governor John Bohlinger are seeking re-election; they were elected in 2004 with 50.4% of the vote. The Democratic and Republican primaries were held on June 3, in which, incumbent governor Brian Schweitzer won for the Democrats and state senator Roy Brown won for the Republicans.[1] They will now go on to face each other and Libertarian Stan Jones in the November gubernatiorial election.
