Montallegro (Muntallegru in Sicilian) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Agrigento in the Italian region Sicily, located about 80 km south of Palermo and about 25 km northwest of Agrigento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,639 and an area of 27.3 km².[1]
Montallegro borders the following municipalities: Agrigento, Cattolica Eraclea, Siculiana.
