Monster Dog, also known as Leviatán, The Bite and Los Perros de la Muerte, is a 1984 horror film written and directed by Claudio Fragasso. It was filmed in Torrelodones, Spain.

A rock star named Vincent Raven, played by Alice Cooper, returns to his hometown because he's chosen it as the setting for his latest music video. His film crew soon start hearing stories about the werewolf curse that is supposed to run in the rock star's family, and attacks that look as if they are the work of wild dogs begin to occur.

The movie begins with Vince Raven performing his music video for his song, "Identity Crisis." The story begins with Vince, Sandra (his girlfriend), Jordan, Marilou, Frank, and Angela (his film crew) driving to Vince's childhood home. The caretaker of the house, Jos is preparing food at the house as a welcome home party for Vince until he hears a strange noise. He walks outside to find a pack of wild canines growling outside his door. The canines wait growling at his porch and then leap and attack him.

The next morning the crew head to the house to shoot their music video. Along the way they run into two police officers, Sheriff Morrison and Deputy Dan and a barricade. The police tell the crew that there has been an attack and that this isn't the first time this has happened. After the band leaves the sheriff and his deputy are both killed when trying to fight the Monster Dog in the woods. The band drives along until Vince hits a German Shepherd. The dog is suffering in pain so he is put to rest by a large rock. While the band morns the dogs death an old man in blood-stained clothing attacks them. He warns them that they,"will all die" except for Vince. The man runs away into the woods where Vince and Sandra chase him, to help his injuries. The two run into the Monster Dog and run back to the car and drive to the house.

When the crew makes to the house Jos is nowhere to be found. Vince is worried so he takes a shotgun and searches the house. While the crew waits they discover the food for the party. Vince gives up and decides to read a book he found about werewolves.

That night Angela has a nightmare that the bloody old man has murdered everyone in the house. She runs from him and looks for Vince, who the old man says is the killer. She finds Vince reading a book in a rocking chair with his back towards her. She walks behind him but he gets up and reveals his face to be the Monster Dog. She wakes up screaming as the crew holds her down. She tells them about her dream and how Vince was a "werewolf." Vince is later found reading in the same rocking chair as in the dream. Sandra is worried about him and he tells her about his father's death. He said that his father had lycanthropy (werewolf disease) and that he was blamed for many deaths. He was stabbed with pitchforks, doused with gasoline, and burnt alive. Vince tells Sandra to go to bed but as she heads for bed she notices a family portrait. In the portrait she realizes a werewolf face in the bushes next to the family and that Vince's father has red eyes.

In the morning the crew decides to do their next music video for Vince's song, "See Me in The Mirror." Angela plays a bride as Vince sings when he stares in a mirror. As Angela is walking down the stairs in the video she notices a shadow of a body resting against the upstairs window. As the light outside flashes the body crashes through the window and it is revealed to be Jos' corpse. Angela leaves the house in shock while the others search the roof to find out what happened. Vince runs after Angela as strange car drives to the house. Four men armed with guns step out of the car and talk the crew into letting them in. The men hold the crew hostage until Vince comes back so they can kill him because they are the ones who killed his father but now believe it was really him. When Vince returns with Angela the door is locked and Vince runs to the car but as the door is opened Angela is shot by one of the gunmen. The gun men run after Vince, who gets away.

Vince heads to the roof where he has a shoot off with the gunmen. He shoots them all but meanwhile the pack of wild dogs break into the house and attack the crew and of the gunmen. The gunmen tries to kill a dog by burning it but in return he is set on fire instead. The Monster Dog waits at the doorway shrouded in fog and Jordan decides to kill it but is killed and dragged away. Sandra and Marilou run up stairs with the dogs chasing them, they close the door to a room which catches Marilou's hair. The Monster Dog's head breaks through the wall and quickly disappears. The two girls find Vince who blamed by Marilou to be the Monster Dog. The three escape to the gunmen's car but they don't have the keys. Sandra and Vince leave Marilou to get them. They return to the car after another run in with a gunmen but as the drive Marilou's corpse falls on Sandra and the Monster Dog attacks Vince from the back seat. Sandra jumps out and hears the car get destroyed with the sound of a gun shot. She finds Vince who tells her about how his father attacked the old man who was a "lycanthrope." The old man dies and Vince tells Sandra to kill him before he turns into the werewolf. As Vince begins to turn into the Monster Dog Sandra shoots him. She begins to laugh and cry nervously as she is the only one left alive.

The movie ends with a reprise of "Identity Crisis."
