Mons-en-Barœul is a commune in the département of Nord and the Nord-Pas de Calais region of France. It is a suburb of the city of Lille, and is adjacent to it on the northeast. It is a component of the metropolitan Urban Community of Lille Métropole. In the 1999 census, Mons-en-Barœul had a population of 23,017.
