Mononuclear leukocytes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mononuclear leukocytes (MLs) are white blood cells with a one-lobed nucleus.
There are two main types of mononuclear leukocytes: monocytes and lymphocytes. Normal hematologic blood values are about 35% of all white blood cells.
An increased number of MLs is an indication of e.g. infectious mononucleosis. [1]
