Monodilepas monilifera cookiana is a keyhole limpet, which is a kind of sea snail. This is a subspecies of marine gastropod mollusc in the family Fissurellidae, the keyhole limpets and slit limpets.

This subspecies is endemic to New Zealand. It is found in Cook Strait.

This keyhole limpet is found at depths of about 11 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is smaller than the other Monodilepas monilifera subspecies. It has an oval outline, with only very slight anterior attenuation. The shell sculpture consists of strong radials, reticulated by weaker concentric ridges.
The maximum shell height is 3.1 mm, width 8 mm, and length 11.5 mm.
