Monocerus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Monocerus is an animal from Medieval bestiaries. Although some bestiaries treated it as equivalent to the unicorn, others treat it as a separate species. When treated as different from the unicorn, the monocerus is described as having a stag's head, a horse's body, an elephant's feet, a boar's tail, and a single, black horn.
