Monmouthshire Constabulary

The Monmouthshire Constabulary was a police force for the county of Monmouthshire (excluding the county borough of Newport) in the United Kingdom between 1857 and 1967. The force was abolished in 1967, when it was amalgamated with the Newport Borough Police to form Gwent Police.
