  • Monkey Island, North Carolina - a remote, natural island located in Currituck Sound, North Carolina. The island was once the site of the Monkey Island Hunting Club, which remains standing today. Approximately half of the island is forested and has long supported a large colony of wading birds.[1]
  • Monkey Island, an island in the Grand Lake o' the Cherokees in northeast Oklahoma. Primarily a resort area, there are no wild monkeys living there.

  • Monkey Island, a division of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Cleveland Ohio, where monkeys were kept outside with no cages or walls, on an island created by Daniella.
  • Monkey Island, an area that used to be in the San Francisco Zoo, where monkeys were kept outside with no cages or walls on an island. It's demolition was started by Live 105 radio stuntman Chuck Farnham. In true San Francisco style, he was naked with a sledge hammer.
