Monika Schnarre (born May 27, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian model and actress.
A native of Scarborough, Ontario who attended Woburn Collegiate Institute, she first came into international recognition at the age of 14 when she won the prestigious Ford Models "Supermodel of the World" contest in 1986, the youngest person ever to win that honour.
Monika Schnarre went on to become an actress, and won acclaim as one of the most beautiful women in the world. In 1995 she played "ELLE" the transvestite on Beverly Hills 90210 twice whose character kissed Steve and later wanted to date Claire's father- Chancellor Arnold. She was also on a 1987 VOGUE cover at the age of 15. Her major television appearance was as the Sorceress in the television series, the Beastmaster, which ran from 1999 to 2001. She made an appearance in Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun as Anton Slavik's second-in-command and Nod seductress Oxanna Kristos. She was a guest character in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda sci-fi TV series; she played the part of a High Guard android/officer in the episode The Mathematics of Tears. The officer was the avatar of the Andromeda Ascendant's sister ship Pax Magellanic.
Schnarre decided to study television entertainment journalism. Monika is also pretty tall for a supermodel, she stands at 6 ft 2 in (188 cm).
In 2007 Schnarre lent her name, time and talent in becoming a volunteer Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity Toronto's (www.torontohabitat.ca) Women Build program.
