Mongiardino Ligure is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 120 km southeast of Turin and about 50 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 193 and an area of 29.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Mongiardino Ligure contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Salata, Maggiolo, Vergagni, Rovello Inferiore, Montemanno, and Gordena.
Mongiardino Ligure borders the following municipalities: Cabella Ligure, Carrega Ligure, Isola del Cantone, Roccaforte Ligure, Rocchetta Ligure, and Vobbia.
