Monforte San Giorgio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 180 km east of Palermo and about 15 km west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,039 and an area of 32.3 km².[1]
Monforte San Giorgio borders the following municipalities: Fiumedinisi, Messina, Roccavaldina, Rometta, San Pier Niceto, Torregrotta.
