The Moneygall Flying Club,[1] County Offaly has been in operation at Moneygall Airfield for over 20 years -
The area has always been closely linked with aviation for many years going back to the British Army Strip which was quite near the present field. The Club is a Registered Training Facility for the new JAR PPL Licence. The airfield boasts one landing strip which is orientated North/South.
