Monduli

Monduli is one of the five districts of the Arusha Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Kenya, to the east by the Kilimanjaro Region and Arumeru District, to the south by the Manyara Region and to the west by the Ngorongoro and Karatu Districts.
Monduli town, located in Monduli district, is an educational center for surrounding regions. Moringe Sokoine, Engutoto and Manyara Secondary Schools are located there, as is the Monduli Teachers' College and the Maasae Girls' Advanced Lutheran Secondary School.
Visitors to Monduli are encouraged to visit Kona Bar, where they can have chai ya maziwa (tea with milk, a Tanzanian specialty) with chapati. Deccan Bar is an ideal destination for dinner and beers.
According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Monduli District was 185,237. [1]
