[edit] Plot summary
Most stories observe an odd edge of humanity. The Bursted Priest tells the story how young Declan Coyningham, the holiest boy in town, is blown up by his schoolmates. The ending story The Forbidden Love of Noreen Tiernan tells Noreen's sojourn in London as an intern nurse and unavoidably torn in a homoerotic affair with her roommate.
