Mona Lisa (Guster song)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Mona Lisa" is a 1994 song by the rock band Guster on its debut album, Parachute. The song references the Da Vinci painting, Mona Lisa, in its line of "Fake a smile"—referring to the smile of Mona Lisa in the portrait. The self-proclaimed "heart-felt ballad" is often performed by college a cappella groups such as Duke's Speak of the Devil, Yale's Mixed Company, and Drexel's 8 to the Bar.
