Talk:Molly

I took this entry off "* the name of a Swedish band mixing ska and Irish folk music." because it doesn't link to an article or potential article. If there's going to be an article, we ought to redlink to it's name now so it can be written later. If not, then it doens't belong on this page. Tedernst 03:24, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

I took this entry off "* a slang term used in the 1800s to mean a homosexual" because the homosexuality article doesn't mention molly or mollies. Tedernst 03:24, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

Church_and_Wellesley#History refers to molly as a contemporary term for homosexual. Maybe needs an article or redirect or something? Tedernst 03:35, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
I added a better explanation - it's not just homosexuals, it's also transsexuals, etc. - Richardcavell 01:08, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I vote to remove the list of people called 'Molly' and place it in its own article. Any takers? - Richardcavell 01:08, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Shouldn't Molly Ringwald be on this list?HorseApples 18:38, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

No. Name pages are not for the collection of every person with that name. They are used to give the origin and meaning of names, and list those who are most often known only by that name or related similar names. Unfortunately, people have missed this point an awful lot. --Kickstart70-T-C 07:34, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
