Molveno is a comune (municipality) in the province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 km northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,134 and an area of 35.2 km².[1] Molveno is sited at the northern end of a 4 km long lake (Lago di Molveno).
Molveno borders the following municipalities: Andalo, Cavedago, Ragoli, San Lorenzo in Banale, Spormaggiore, Terlago, Tuenno and Vezzano.
