The Black Mastiff Bat (Molossus ater) is a species of bat in the Molossidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
