Molly Lansing is a fictional character on the popular ABC soap opera, General Hospital. She is the infant daughter of Alexis Davis and Ric Lansing, and is half-sister to Kristina Davis and Sam McCall.

Birth and Early Months
Alexis went into labor during a train wreck in the Glencoe Tunnel and nearly died giving birth to Molly. Molly was brought out of the collapsing tunnel to safety by Courtney Matthews, the girlfriend of her half first cousin, Nikolas. Molly nearly lost both her parents a few months after her birth when Port Charles was struck by an encephalitis epidemic and both Alexis and Ric were hospitalized. Though she had previously claimed to be unreligious, Alexis arranged after these life-threatening events to have Molly baptized at the hospital by the same Catholic priest who had baptized her half-sister Kristina (who also happens to be her paternal first cousin) a year earlier.
Custody Battle
Her solid family life was shattered when her mother, Alexis, was diagnosed with lung cancer and it was feared that she would lose her mother at a very early age. Around the same time, her father, Ric, and her half-sister,Sam, slept together. This is what pulled the family apart and caused her parents to divorce. When her father found out that her mother was smoking weed to get rid of the pain from her cancer treatments he took Alexis to court and called her an unfit mother. For a while the judge gave sole custody of Molly to Ric, however Trevor, Ric's father, came to town because he was working for the local mob family, the Zaccharas. When Ric, who is the DA, didn't co-operate with Trevor, Trevor would threaten to take Molly away from him. These threats caused Ric to give custody of Molly back to Alexis for her safety.
Recently
Molly and her half-sister, Kristina, were living with her cousin, Nikolas, at Wyndomere for protection against Sonny's enemies. However, Nikolas' blackouts were getting worse so they moved back to the lakehouse. Her grandfather, Trevor, has been wanting to spend time with her, however Ric and Alexis, have seen how heartless Trevor can be and have told him to stay away from her.
