Molly Bea (born Molly Bea Spears) is an American singer and song-writer from Little Rock, Arkansas now residing in New York City.

Molly began singing and playing the piano in Little Rock, Arkansas and came to New York City when she was sixteen years old. She graduated from the Professional Performing Arts School where she further developed her writing skills and style. In May of 2006, Molly graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Marymount Manhattan College, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Molly's acting career began as Baby June in the production “Gypsy” at the University of Arkansas. From there, Murry’s Playhouse became her home, until she continued her musical and acting training in New York City. She studied at the HB Studio, Weist-Barron Film School, Michael Howard Studios, Alvin Ailey Dance and with the acclaimed Luigi at Luigi’s Jazz Centre. She has performed at the Actor’s Institute and has been cast in numerous theater/film productions. In 2005 she appeared in the hit American TV series including Law & Order:SVU[1].

Molly Bea signed with the New York based digital record label Shark Meat Records in 2008 and released her debut EP "Over You" along with a music video for the title track on iTunes worldwide. Her influences are multigenre including 1970's rock bands such as The Eagles and singers such as Joni Mitchell, along with more contemporary insight from bands like Radiohead and songwriters such as Fiona Apple.
