Molecular Systems Biology

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Molecular Systems Biology is a scientific journal which covers systems biology at the molecular level with research in the fields of genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, microbial systems, and the integration of cell signaling and regulatory networks. The journal guidelines indicate an interest on establishing standards for biological datasets. Access to this journal is free of charge and publication is supported in part by an author charge. Papers include a brief synopsis written by the authors in collaboration with the editorial staff, and a heavy use of links to internet resources in their online versions.

As of January 2007 the senior editors of the journal were Ruedi Aebersold, Peer Bork, George Church, Leroy Hood, and Edison Liu.
