The state company "Moldtelecom" was created at April, 1st, 1993 as a result of restructuring of the telecommunication sector of Republic of Moldova. On January, 5, 1999 the state company "Moldtelecom" was reorganized into Joint Stock Company, the State being the unique stockholder.
