[edit] Re-creating deleted articles

Hi, Rafael Pires Monteiro was deleted as he does not meet the criteria set at WP:ATHLETE. Basically, he has never played a game in a fully-professional league or at International level. Thanks mate --Jimbo^[online] 16:26, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I won't be reverting them back. That criteria is set by Wiki, and used as a basis for all articles - so I don't know where you'd find better criteria. If you recreate the articles you'll need a source that says they have played in a fully-professional competition, otherwise they'd be deleted again. Just being on a roster or in a squad isn't sufficient enough.

I didn't delete the article, I just nominated it for deletion. Obviously an administrator saw my reason was valid enough to delete it.

I know plenty about the subject, and if you wish to discuss the criterion or any other football articles related matters do so here. --Jimbo^[online] 18:14, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
