[edit] Only player to coin a delivery?

He is the only cricketer to coin a name for a cricketing delivery. In the mid 1990's he coined the mystery delivery of Saqlain Mushtaq that went from leg to off as the Doosra. It means the "other one" in Urdu.

How about the "Chinaman" back in 1933?

The origin of the term "chinaman" is reported to have originated after Achong had Walter Robbins stumped during the Manchester Test of 1933. According to Richie Benaud, as Robbins walked back to pavilion he said to Joe Hardstaff Snr, the umpire: "Fancy being done by a bloody chinaman".[[1]]
Bosey? Flipper? Zooter? Any genuinely NEW delivery from the time of the googly would have been given a name by either the originator, or a commentator - most of whom are ex players. Over egging the pudding, I think. 164.36.38.240 12:33, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] First Twenty20 Hundred

This needs qualifying. Ian Harvey scored the first T20 hundred IIRC - parhaps Moin scored the first in Pakistan? 164.36.38.240 12:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
