Mohammed Mzali

Mohammed Mzali (born 23 December 1925 in Monastir, Tunisia) is a former Tunisian politician. Mzali was Prime Minister of Tunisia from his appointment by President Habib Bourguiba until his dismissal by President Bourguiba in 1986 amid government-mandated price increases and subsequent rioting. Mzali fled to France and was replaced by Rachid Sfar. Mzali wrote a book, "Un Premier ministre de Bourguiba témoigne", which accused the Bourguiba of corruption among other accusations. Since 1965, Mzali has been a member of the International Olympic Committee.
