Mohammad Fazlhashemi

Seyyed Mohammad Fazlhashemi (born 1961 in Iran) is a Swedish assistant professor of History of Ideas at Umeå University, and author of a number of books on Persian and Islamic thought. Mohammad Fazlhashemi moved to Sweden in 1977 and took his doctoral degree in History of Ideas at Umeå University in 1994. His dissertation focused on al-Ghazali's political thought. He also publishes articles in the Swedish Muslim journal Minaret.
