Mohammad Emran (born January 31, 1986) is a Bangladeshi & Qatari cricketer. He was born in Doha, Qatar.
Mohammad Emran represented the Qatar u-15, u-17, u-19 & National side. He is currently in Australia to finish his studies. He is also playing for the Auburn District Cricket Club in Sydney.
Mohammad Emran is a promising leg spinner & a high class middle order batsmen who have a sound temperament & technique. He has toured many countries including Nepal. Singapore, Kuwait, Dubai, Malaysia, Bahrain, Pakistan, Bangladesh with the Qatar cricket teams. He was chosen in the Asian dream U-19 team from the ACC trophy, 2001 which was held in Karachi, Pakistan. He was adjudged as the best fielder in that tournament.
Mohammad Emran was the first Qatari batsmen to score a century in an international cricket tournament when he scored 100 not out against Oman in the ACC Gulf Cup. He played some memorable innings for his country as well some brilliant bowling figures with his leg spin. In Qatar he has played premier league cricket with Commercial Bank for 5 years with whom he won the league title a record 5 times.
