Dr. Mohammad Alshayeb is an assistant professor in software engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
He received his MS and PhD in Computer Science and certificate of Software Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Dr. Alshayeb worked as a senior researcher and Software Engineer and managed software projects in the United States and Middle East. He has published several papers in the area of Software Engineering in refereed journals and conferences. He has been a referee for technical journals and conferences. Dr. Alshayeb taught and coordinated industrial training courses. He provided consulting services to major industrial and educational institutes. Dr. Alshayeb is a member of a number of professional associations. He also received a number of certificates of excellence for the effort devoted for improving the ICS Department. Dr. Alshayeb is a certified project manager (PMP). Dr. Alshayeb research interests include Software quality, software measurement and metrics, software quality, software architecture, design pattern, Object-Oriented design and empirical studies in software engineering.
