Mohamad Hanif Atmar (b. 1968, Laghman Province) is the Education Minister of Afghanistan. He was born to Mohammad Asef Atmar and later studied at York University in England. Atmar is a former member of Hezb-e Islami and currently member of the Afghan Mellat party.
