Moges Taye

Moges Taye (born December 12, 1973 in Showa) is a long-distance runner from Ethiopia, who won the 1998 edition of the Vienna Marathon. Two years earlier he triumphed at the Rome City Marathon, clocking a total time of 2:12:03.
In 1998 Taye also set a new record (2:12:51) at the Tiberias Marathon, shaving over a minute off the previous record, set by Kevin Shaw of South Africa (2:14:02).
