Mofus (association)

Mofus is a Swedish youth science association located in Mölndal, outside Gothenburg. They arrange experiments, forums, camps, parties and much more. The experiments are usually spectacular and often involve pyrotechnics.

The association was founded in 2005 by five individuals, only three founders remain active members to this date. However, it grew quickly and established itself as one of the largest science associations connected to the Swedish organization Förbundet Unga Forskare (FUF) in the region.

The association has an ongoing collaboration with one of the high schools in Mölndal, utilizing their lab and grounds for their experiments in exchange for shows and exhibitions at the school.
