Moe Oshikiri (押切もえ Oshikiri Moe?, born December 29, 1979 in Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan) is a Japanese model best known her work with fashion magazine AneCan and its sister magazine CanCam which Oshikiri was a former top model for. She is also a designer, starting her own Kimono line branded under her name, as well as a hosiery line with CanCam model Yuri Ebihara called f*ing modesto.

Oshikiri graduated from a public school in Matsudo, Chiba. She went to Showa Daiichi high school, however she dropped out. After that, she re-entered Ichikawa-Nishi public high school located in Ichikawa, Chiba, as a repeat student, and has graduated. While a high school student, dokusha models (literally, reader models, are amateur models) were not yet popular in Japanese fashion magazines. However, she actively appeared in Popteen magazine during that time, she has started her modeling career. Afterwards, she became a star dokusha model for Egg magazine, and Popteen. At that time, she was a charismatic model for high school girls. Still, after graduating from Popteen she tried to change her image and began modeling for ViVi magazine. Though, the new image didn't resonate with fans and she left the magazine. After her failed attempt to change her image, she signed up with CanCam magazine, in order to be a feminine model in 2001. After spending 6 years with CanCam and gaining a solid reputation, she became a star model for AneCan, a spin-off magazine of CanCam targeted at women in their mid 20s to late 20s.

  • Her parents divorced when she was in junior high school.
  • Her boyfriend died when she was a high school student.
  • In 2003, she participated in theHonolulu Marathon as a runner. She finished 1130th in the female division and the time was 4H32M17S.
  • In 2004, she again participated in Honolulu Marathon as an escort runner for a blind runner.
  • She was seriously injured in Hawaii in February 2005.
  • In February 2006, she was taken a photo that she received high-grade wine from an actor, Junichi Ishida. However, probably because of age, Oshikiri was 26 and Ishida was 50, the incident had not been big.
  • In September 22 2006, when Oshikiri acted as a campaigner for an event of Dunhill in Omotesando Hills, she commented about a rumor on the web in which she was dating with a baseball player named Nagisa Arakaki who plays in Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks that she did not date with him and was wondering where such a groudless rumor come from.
  • Her hair style rolling inward perm has been thought up by her, and it is sometimes called "Oshikiri Rolling" or Oshikiri-maki. This is a popular hairstyle for young working females.
  • She is into reading books. She often read 3 books a week, and her favorite author is Osamu Dazai, especially his novel "Tsugaru"
  • She revealed on TV that her first kiss came at 16.
  • When she appeared on a TV show, Eigo de Shabera Night, she said that her favorite performer was Ai (singer). She also likesMika Nakashima and Namie Amuro. Plus, she enjoys comedies. She said that her favorite comedians are a stand-up comedy unit named Jicho Kacho and a stand-up comedian Moody Katsuyama.
